Adanac Announces Market Matters CEO Radio Interview

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 13, 2006) - Adanac Molybdenum Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AUA)(PINK SHEETS:ANCGF)(FWB:A9N) ("ADANAC"), announces President and CEO Larry W. Reaugh will be interviewed by Market Matters Radio program Saturday, October 14th at 11 a.m. PST. He will be one of three CEO's of junior resource sector featured along with Industry speaker: John McGonegal: Vice-President, Equities - AMEX Exchange. Mr. Reaugh will discuss the Ruby Creek Project, a proposed open pit molybdenum mine situated 24 kilometers northeast of Atlin, BC, which would operate at 20,000 tonnes per day of ore for 20 plus years and have an overall footprint of approximately 830 hectares. Mr. Reaugh will also discuss the current status of the proposed mine and how the company will minimize any long term environmental effects and maximize socio-economic benefits to the local community, Taku River Tlingit First Nation and British Columbia.
