Adaptive Insights Finance Leadership Series Reveals Secrets to Successful Finance Transformation

Gives Guidance on Creating a Strategic FP&A Function for Maximum Corporate Performance

PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 13, 2016) - Adaptive Insights, the only pure-play cloud vendor to be named a leader in strategic cloud corporate performance management (CPM), today announced it is holding a Finance Leadership Series that will visit 47 cities across the globe, providing a forum for attendees to learn how to transform their corporate FP&A function and become the strategic business partners their organizations expect. The company will host a combination of exclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner events designed to provide step-by-step guidance on how to successfully embark on a finance transformation journey. Events start this week and run through November 10, 2016.

The series will deliver content via panel discussions, customer case studies, CFO presentations and professional networking in cities throughout the United States, Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand. Presentations will cover best practices for enabling successful finance transformation and feature case studies from over 100 customers representing more than 20 industries, including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, nonprofit, software, banking, professional services and more. In addition, 20 user groups will have the opportunity to gather in association with the series.

Partners presenting include BDO Canada LLP, CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, CohnReznick, Deloitte, Grant Thornton LLP, and Moss Adams.

"Our Finance Leadership Series provides attendees with an opportunity to hear first-hand from local finance leaders about their own transformation journeys and how they successfully transitioned their teams from a tactical to a more strategic role in the organization," said Tom Bogan, CEO of Adaptive Insights. "CFOs will share their lessons learned during the transformation process and demonstrate how they evolved their tools and processes to ensure that the FP&A function operates at a higher level. We are thrilled to bring this peer networking opportunity to finance teams across the globe."

According to a recent survey, 75% of CFOs want their teams to have a strategic and strong impact on their organizations, yet only 46% believe they will have that kind of impact by 2017. These CFOs also estimate that 11-25% of their teams' time is spent on strategic tasks today, and expect that number to grow to 25-50% by 2020. The key question is: How will they get there? The majority intend to implement technology and training programs that will enhance their teams' ability to analyze data and unveil the key insights needed to manage growth, ensure long-term sustainability and enable agility.
