Adara Media Expands Team With Four Key Additions

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 19, 2011) - Adara Media Inc., a global travel marketing platform company, announced today the addition of four new hires to help support their growing capabilities. Mark Hersch and Jeff Cohen will serve Adara Media as VPs of Strategic Accounts, Brandon Meyers as Sales Director and Andrew Freedman as Regional Sales Director for the Eastern Region.

Mark Hersch, a longtime travel veteran, comes to Adara Media from Captivate Network -- a division of Gannett -- where, as the Director of Travel Strategy, he oversaw ad sales to the travel and tourism industry and led the travel vertical to an 80% increase in ad revenue. Mr. Hersch is a recognized industry leader who has been on the forefront of digital and placed-based media innovation.

Jeff Cohen joins Adara Media from The TAS Group. Cohen has a long history of building and leading successful teams by focusing on sales strategies, sales positioning and execution. Cohen gained his experience from the many teams he has led at companies including BuzzLogic, Apptera, Key3Media, Infospace, Intuit, Ziff-Davis Publishing and more.

While in the positions of VPs of Strategic Accounts, both Hersch and Cohen will be primarily responsible for growing Adara Media's relationships with their large scale advertisers and also with the Fortune 1000 companies Adara Media works with.

Brandon Meyers also comes to Adara Media with a background in the travel industry. Meyers brings experience from his time at Hotwire and his work with several Las Vegas hotels and multiple tourism boards in North America. While at Hotwire, Meyers initiated and implemented a new revenue model for advertisers that tripled revenue and brought on several new advertisers in the U.S. and Canada.

Most recently, he spent three years at Orbitz Worldwide where he served as part of a beta sales group that helped create sales strategy and shape the final product of a new self service ad platform for independent and chain hotels. As Sales Director for Adara Media, Meyers will be focusing on the tourism sector.

He will be responsible for working with agencies and clients in East Coast markets to increase revenue growth for Adara Media. Freedman joins Adara Media from Sojern and will be based in New York. He previously represented LinkedIn, bizjournals and, where he developed strong relationships with Fortune 500 clients and key agencies.
