ADARA Networks Selected as Part of the Systems Made Simple Team to Support Prestigious CIO-SP3 Contract Vehicle With $20B Ceiling

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) - ADARA Networks, provider of the most advanced commercially available Software Defined Networking (SDN) and cloud computing platforms, today announced it was part of the team assembled by prime contractor Systems Made Simple (SMS) that has been selected by the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) for their Chief Information Officer -- Solution and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) contract. CIO-SP3 is a multiple award Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with ceiling value of $20 billion.

The 10-year indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract offers IT support to any federal, civilian or Department of Defense (DOD) agency, and encompasses ten task areas, including IT operations and management, software development and digital government with the opportunity to bid on up to $20 billion in task orders. CIO-SP3 federal agencies will be able to incorporate a systems approach into their IT services in order to achieve scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial and information management requirements.
