Adaris Technologies Receives Financial Assistance from Government of Canada

SAINTE-THÉRÈSE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 7, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Adaris Technologies has been granted $105,000 in repayable funding to implement a commercialization strategy on the United States market.

"Innovation is essential to the competitiveness of the Canadian economy. That is why the Government of Canada is committed to supporting enterprises that, like Adaris Technologies, are operating in promising sectors for the future," said Minister Lebel.

In 2008, Adaris Technologies developed aZension, a network appliance currently sold on the Canadian market. The company intends to use the funding to produce promotional materials, carry out prospecting missions and take part in various trade shows and fairs with a view to introducing its product to the American marketplace.

This financial assistance has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program. The Adaris Technologies project is expected to strengthen and further the growth of the information and communications technology sector, a priority for the economy of Laval, the Laurentians and Lanaudière.
