Admiralty Holding Company to Receive New Patent

DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2006 -- Admiralty Holding Company (OTC BB: ADMH) (Admiralty) announced today that it has received notice from its patent attorneys, KILPATRICK STOCKTON LLP, that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance and Issue Fee Due and a Notice of Allowability for Admiralty's U.S. Patent Application Serial No. 10/827,089. This application is entitled Systems and Methods Useful For Detecting Presence and/or Location Of Various Materials. Admiralty anticipates that the actual patent will be issued in due course over the next few weeks.

This new patent will supplement and expand the existing coverage of Admiralty's ATLIS™ technology which concerns the detection and identification of various metals, including gold and silver, as described in United States Patent No. US 6,724,191 B1 issued on April 20, 2004.

In other news, the construction of the first commercial ATLIS™ unit is nearing completion with most of the components already completed and the computer software over 90% completed. It is hoped that the unit will be ready to test in a marine environment soon.
