Adoption Awareness Website Makes It to Second Round of Intuit's Small Business, Big Game Ad Contest

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 10, 2013) - Adoption.NET has made it to the second round of the Intuit Small Business, Big Game Ad Contest. Adoption.NET is an award winning, comprehensive website and mobile platform for the adoption community, designed to raise awareness and create a national dialogue about adoption.

The Small Business, Big Game contest began July 2013 with a call to all small businesses to share their story for a chance to win a professionally produced TV commercial for their company that will run during the professional football championship, February 2, 2014, courtesy of Intuit QuickBooks.

Round one, the competing small businesses submit basic information about their company with a call for support in the form of votes. In round two, the contestants submit a more detailed description of their business with accompanying video and photos for a chance to be one of the twenty small businesses to advance to round three.

From the Adoption.NET contest entry page, "The website isn't about the argument around Pro-Life or Pro-Choice, but a third option that accomplishes both. In 2012, 995,867 abortions were performed in America. If we can inform these women through Adoption.NET about adoption and cut into that statistic by even 10% -- we can save more than 90,000 babies a year."

In round three, the contestants will be narrowed down to the top twenty, Intuit will then choose four of these small businesses to advance to the next round in November, where anyone from around the world can vote on the finalists. The business with the most votes will win the grand prize, and their 30-second ad will run during the big game on February 2, 2014.
