Adorno & Yoss Reaches 20th Anniversary Milestone

MIAMI, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 25, 2006 -- Adorno & Yoss (A&Y), the nation's largest certified minority-owned law firm, kicks off its 20th anniversary celebration at this year's National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) Conference and Business Opportunity Fair, in San Diego, California. The full service law firm was founded in Miami, Florida on December 1, 1986 with three lawyers and a staff of two. Adorno & Yoss is now home to over 250 attorneys with offices in ten major metropolitan areas across the country.

Adorno & Yoss has witnessed significant national expansion and recognition, considerable revenue growth, as well as a number of firsts in its twenty years of operation. Adorno & Yoss became the first law firm to receive the NMSDC's "National Supplier of the Year" designation, in 2005. The Supplier of the Year program was designed to measure the success of minority-owned businesses, on the basis of growth in sales and employment, product quality, service delivery, procurement activities, and community involvement. Nominees for the Supplier of the Year are nominated by their own corporate customers.

Adorno & Yoss was also the first minority-owned law firm to be awarded the Minority Corporate Counsel Association's (MCCA) prestigious Thomas L. Sager Award for the South/Southwest Region, in 2005. The firm's significant growth has also been recognized by the National Law Journal's Top 250, which last year ranked the firm the 169th largest law firm in the United States.

Last month, A. Wayne Gill, Partner and Chairman of the Firm's Corporate Asset Recovery Department, received the 2006 Florida Regional Minority Business Council's (FRMBC) Crystal Award. Mr. Gill was selected by South Florida minority businesses for his role as a leader and advocate for minority business development in the local market.

H. Ron White, Partner in charge of the Firm's Dallas office, is another A&Y partner who was recently recognized for his role in the community. In April, Mr. White received the Dallas Bar Foundation's 2006 Fellows Award for his contributions to the legal, business and civic communities in Dallas, Texas.

Last year, the firm also published its first book, "OYE! What's A Hispanic," which discusses the impact of the nation's growing Hispanic population on business, politics and culture. OYE!'s exploration of this emerging force in the U.S. economy echoes the firm's own emergence as a leading minority-owned organization in the legal community.

In 2003, Adorno & Yoss became the first, and still the only, law firm to be named a Corporate Plus Member of the NMSDC. Corporate Plus is the elite membership status of the NMSDC for the highest caliber minority business enterprises, which have the proven capacity to handle business on a national basis for major corporations. This certification gives the firm access to national Fortune 1000 companies, resulting in the expansion of its national client base.

Over the course of the coming calendar year, the firm will engage in a range of activities to celebrate this milestone both internally through its 17 national offices as well as in the communities where it operates. The activities will culminate at the NMSDC's 2007 Conference and Business Opportunity Fair, in Miami, Florida.
