ADP Enhances Pay eXpert Solution to Empower Clients With Greater Control and Visibility Into Their Businesses

30,000 Clients Using Newly Updated Software as a Service Payroll Application

ROSELAND, NJ--(Marketwire - July 17, 2007) - ADP® Major Accounts Services, part of the Employer Services Division, a leading provider of payroll, benefits administration and human resources services, today announced the availability of an upgraded version of ADP Pay eXpert®, the company's hosted, web-based payroll management solution for organizations with 50 to 999 employees.

ADP first introduced Pay eXpert in 2001. Today, more than 30,000 clients are benefiting from this solution that provides ADP's expertise and assistance without the burden of IT implementation and maintenance.

Pay eXpert is part of ADP's broad portfolio of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for payroll, human resources management, time and attendance, benefits administration and expense management. ADP's solutions provide clients with easier to use, easier to learn and easier to implement solutions versus traditional in-house options.

With this upgrade, ADP has enhanced Pay eXpert to provide greater control over the payroll process and visibility into the client's business. Two of the new features include payroll costing and on-site check printing.

Payroll costing allocates employee gross to net calculations by job cost numbers. This functionality improves the management of employees across multiple departments, locations, projects and other attributes. It also provides financial managers with the ability to analyze labor distribution and forecast costs that impact profit margins. This type of visibility into the business is particularly important in project-based industries such as construction and professional services.

On-site check printing allows clients to print employee paychecks on demand. This is important for hourly and/or unionized workforces that may require employees to be paid immediately upon leaving their positions. ADP's on-site check printing functionality empowers the client to take as much or as little control as needed.

The upgrade is available currently to all Pay eXpert clients. Delivered as a service over the Web, clients will have no hardware or software to install, maintain or upgrade. The new functionality will be available the next time the client logs-on.
