ADP Forms Strategic Partnership With the International Franchise Association

Payroll Leader Becomes Founding Sponsor of Annual Franchise Appreciation Day Scheduled September 25-26 in Washington, D.C.

ROSELAND, NJ and WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 18, 2006 -- ADP® Small Business Services, part of ADP Employer Services, a leading provider of payroll, benefits and human resources (HR) services, today announced that it has partnered with the International Franchise Association (IFA) as the founding sponsor of its annual Franchise Appreciation Day (FAD). ADP's partnership with the IFA will help educate members on the benefits of outsourcing payroll and HR and strategically extends ADP's presence in the small business sector.

Franchise Appreciation Day takes place September 25-26, 2006 in Washington, D.C. It gives franchise business leaders the opportunity to highlight the economic impact of franchising in local communities across the country. Participating franchisors and franchise owners will educate lawmakers about the issues that will help franchising continue to succeed.

"IFA is pleased to partner with ADP and have them as the founding sponsor of this important event," said Matthew Shay, President, International Franchise Association. "FAD is geared toward helping franchisors and franchisees collaborate on best practices and industry initiatives. Many of our members find that outsourcing payroll and tax compliance to a service company like ADP helps them run their franchises more efficiently."

"Administrative tasks such as payroll and HR can often take valuable time and focus away from business growth. ADP understands the unique needs of the franchise community and we are committed to providing services that help both the franchisor and franchisee meet their business goals," comments Alan Sheiness, President, ADP Small Business Services.

ADP Small Business Services provides accurate and convenient payroll and business solutions ideally suited for franchisors and franchisees. Its offerings include payroll, tax compliance, time and attendance, workers' compensation insurance, and 401(k) administration.

EasyPay(SM) is ADP's fully outsourced, Web-based payroll offering for small businesses. Each pay period, users simply input their payroll via phone, Web or fax. EasyPay calculates and pays employee wages, and pays and files federal, state and local payroll taxes. Users can choose to print their own paychecks, or receive signed payroll checks or direct deposit vouchers for their employees.
