ADP Retirement Services Honored With 28 "Best In Class" Awards From PLANSPONSOR Magazine

Accolades Nearly Double Over Last Year's Survey; Results Attributed to Enhanced Client Communication, Service and Platform Advancements

ROSELAND, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 19, 2006 -- ADP® Retirement Services, part of the Employer Services Division of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), a leading provider of outsourced payroll, benefits and human resources (HR) services, today announced it has received 28 "Best In Class" awards in PLANSPONSOR magazine's annual Defined Contribution Survey.

This year's PLANSPONSOR Defined Contribution Survey collected feedback from nearly 5,000 clients of Defined Contribution providers. ADP received overwhelming recognition and attributes this year's significant increase to delivering insightful and informative client communications, providing easy-to-understand participant account statements and offering advanced reporting capabilities on its plan sponsor Web site.

"ADP Retirement Services is honored to again be a recipient of numerous PLANSPONSOR magazine 'Best In Class' awards, which further demonstrates our leadership in retirement services and commitment to client service and satisfaction," said John Guido, Vice President of business strategy and marketing for ADP Retirement Services. Micro Market ( < $5MM) Awards

ADP ranked in the top quartile for services in both the Participant and Sponsor Services categories within the market segment of defined contribution plans with assets under $5MM. ADP also received "Best In Class" award recognition in the following Micro Market categories: Statement Clarity, Ability to Increase Deferrals, Asset Allocation Focus, Statement Accuracy, Turnaround Time-Loans, Internet Services, Call Center, Range of Investment Options, Retiree Services, Participant Service Fee, Reporting Timeliness, Sponsor Services, Internet Services, Form 5500 Accuracy, Reporting, Compliance, Fee Fairness, Disclosure, A/C Rep Knowledge, Responsiveness, Regulation Updates and Staff Consistency.

Small Market ($5MM - $50MM) Awards

Within the market of defined contribution plans with assets of $5MM to $50MM, ADP Retirement Services received top quartile service scores for Sponsor Services and seven "Best In Class" awards in the following categories: Ability to Increase Deferrals, Retiree Services, Participant Service Fee, Fee Fairness, Fee Disclosure, Responsiveness and Staff Consistency.

Survey ratings are determined by PLANSPONSOR magazine based on questionnaires completed by clients of each provider. Client satisfaction results were segmented for each provider based on four separate market classifications: less than $5 million in defined contribution assets; $5 million-$40 million; $50 million-$200 million; and, more than $200 million. To qualify for rating in the survey, providers needed a minimum of 30 total client responses, and at least 10 client responses in any asset category to be rated in that category. "Best in Class" awards were given to those providers with top quartile scores in each service category within each asset size.
