Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road Announces Retirement of Its First Police Chief Jerry Haensler, Appointment of Scott Lambka to Chief


WESTLAND, MI--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2014) - The Adrian & Blissfield Rail Road Company, owners of four Rail Road Companies, headquartered in Southeastern Michigan, Jackson, MI and Lansing, MI and the Old Road Blissfield (MI) and Old Road Charlotte (MI) Dinner Trains, have announced the pending retirement of Gerald Haensler, Jr. as Chief of the A&B RR Police Department and the appointment of Scott Lambka as the new Chief.

Mark Dobronski, president of the A&BRR, announced the moves which will take effect October 1, 2014.

Haensler became the A&BRR first Chief of Police in 2009. A native of Warren, MI and resident of Adrian, MI, Haensler was Chief of Police for Madison Township, MI.

A 37-year veteran in law enforcement, he also was a sergeant with the Washtenaw County Sheriff Department. He has been a longtime member of the Ogden Church.

Lambka, a resident of Manitou Beach, MI and native of Onsted, MI has been serving with Raisin Township, MI for over 13 years, first as a patrolman then as Chief of Police and finally as Director of Public Safety. He spent seven years in the U.S. Army as a paramedic and was a police officer in Kentucky prior to returning to Lenawee County, MI.
