Adriana Commences Expanded Drill Program at MIE Ni-Cu-PGE Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - July 12, 2007) - Adriana Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ADI) announces that it has commenced the expanded diamond drill program at the Company's wholly-owned MIE Ni-Cu-PGE Property in Nunavut, Canada. This stage of the drill program will consist of two holes, each ranging from 600 to 800 meters in length, directly down-dip from MC07-02 (drilled in May 2007). The goal of the expanded diamond drill program is to further test the mineralized Ni-Cu-PGE intersections discovered in June 2007.

The analytical results on the lower portion of drill hole MC07-02 announced on June 16, 2007, intersected a fourteen meter zone of disseminated magmatic sulphide mineralization in the top half of a 65 meter thick magmatic unit within the Muskox Intrusion. The zone includes a six metre interval with an average weighted grade of 0.47% Ni, 1.12% Cu, 1.46 g/tonne Pd, 0.13 g/tonne Pt and 0.13 g/tonne Au. The Company interprets these results as being significant in that a new zone of mineralization has been identified within the Muskox Intrusion near the Keel (or Feeder) portion of the intrusion. A diagrammatic cross section with the location of the two proposed drill holes and the location of the two drill holes completed in May 2007 is available on the Company's website attached to the press release dated June 16, 2007.

About the Muskox Intrusion

The MIE Project draws its name from one of the world's largest continental-type magmatic events. The Mackenzie Igneous Event deposited an estimated 5 to 10 million cubic meters of magma across Northern Canada. Rare geological events such as these are widely known to host large, rich platinum group elements (PGE) and copper-nickel deposits. For example, one of the world's largest such complexes, Noril'sk-Talnakh in Russia, hosts numerous deposits and operating mines.
