Adroit Applies for Two Additional Italian Permits

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 6, 2006) - Adroit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ADT)(FWB:A7V) is pleased to report that it has made application to acquire two (2) additional properties totaling 2,302 hectares in Central Italy; that it believes to be prospective for epithermal gold and related mineral deposits.

The two areas applied for, the Incrociata permit of 1,008 hectares and Le Carpinelle permit of 1,294 hectares, are contiguous with the 1,390 hectares Pietratonda permit applied for and announced on June 21, 2005. The Incrociata permit overlaps the Pietratonda permit to conform with the commune boundary which runs through the middle of the Pietratonda permit. The Pietratonda permit is thereby reduced to 833 hectares. The three permits together total 3,135 hectares.

The Le Carpinelle, Pietratonda and Incrociate block of permits are central to the Company's holdings in Italy and are located within a 20 minutes drive from the Company's project office in Campagnatico.

The addition of these properties will significantly add to the Company's overall portfolio of properties in the region, and will bring the total number of properties to twelve (12), with a total surface area of approximately 8,145 hectares. Three properties are already owned as announced on February 1, 2006 and six of the seven applied for in June 2005 are expected to be granted soon.

Research continues to support a model whereby this region represents an area of significant epithermal gold occurrences, exhibiting many of the characteristics of the prolific Carlin-style occurrences.

The region is, by world standards, a major historic mining district. It was one of the world's largest producers of mercury and a significant producer of antimony and pyrite; and yet the presence of gold was only discovered in the 1980's, when new mineralization models and modern exploration techniques were introduced. Subsequently, the results from regional geochemical stream, soil and rock chip surveys and limited test drilling, all carried out during the mid-to-late 1980's (mainly by the mineral arm of the Italian oil company, AGIP), lead to several indications of sediment-hosted gold occurrences with strong "Carlin-style affinities".

Each of the properties selected exhibits the following common characteristics:

- Gold indications returned from stream, soil, or rock sampling surveys;

- Antimony, mercury, barite et al mineralization present;

- Fault systems, which may have acted as conduits for the mineralization;

- Favourable host rock lithologies; usually large tracks of limestone (commonly the Triassac Calcare Cavernoso limestone) and/or Verrucano schists, overlain by impermeable flysch formations, which may have acted as a lid on the rising mineral fluids;

- Widespread alteration, usually silicification, kaolinisation, or sulfidisation.

The Pietratonda Property hosts an ancient Antimony (Sb) mine and an active silica sands quarry. The area is underlain by the metamorphic Verrucano schists and by the Calcare Cavernoso limestone, both covered by impermeable flysch formations. The Cavernoso limestone is often intensively altered (silicified) and mineralized. It takes the form of a breccia with chalcedony-bearing elements cemented by vuggy quartz. The alteration is accompanied by traces of stibnite and antimony oxides. Rock samples collected from the altered limestone returned up to 0.8 g/t Au.

It should be noted that the sample results sited herein are historic, reported results, and have not been independently verified by the Company. A multi-facetted program, including additional archival regional and property specific research, remote sensing, sampling and mapping, is being implemented. Whether the Company completes all of the property acquisitions, retains its interests therein, or adds to the current portfolio will depend upon results and financial conditions.
