Adroit Resources Inc.: Ontario Drilling-3,500 Metres Plus Planned

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 18, 2006) - Adroit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ADT)(FWB:A7V) -

Management is pleased to provide the following update on its Ontario projects which will include a minimum of 3,500 metres of diamond drilling.

Argentia Ridge - Wholly owned

Results from the AeroTEM II airborne geophysical survey identified several conductors, warranting additional staking, line cutting, and infill line cutting in select areas in preparation for an induced polarization survey to commence in early January. This will be followed by a minimum 1,000 metre diamond drilling programme to test the anomalies.

The Property consists of 12 unpatented mining claims totalling 98 units and covering 1,568 hectares. Management believes that this Property has strong potential to host multiple deposit types including Nipissing Gabbro hosted magmatic sulphide (Cu-Ni-Pt-Pd), vein-type Ag-Co mineralization associated with metavolcanic/metasedimentary rocks and Nipissing Gabbro, and volcanogenic massive sulphides associated with metavolcanic rocks. Furthermore, the Property, which is located within the Lake Timiskaming Structural Zone (LTSZ), has potential to host diamondiferous kimberlite, as it is situated along and between several of the major fault systems in the region including the Timiskaming, Montreal River, Latchford, and Cross Lake faults. Faults that comprise the LTSZ extend from the Ottawa Valley in a northwest direction. The LTSZ and its various fault systems are major controlling factors in the emplacement of approx. 150 Ma diamondiferous kimberlitic bodies along the Timiskaming Rift.

Historically, South Lorrain Township has produced over 23 Million ounces of silver. Production has mainly come from the first 300 feet of metavolcanic rocks that overlay a gently dipping western flank of a Nipissing Gabbro intrusion. Similar geology is repeated on the Argentia Ridge property where more than 5 kilometres of prospective strike length covers the metavolcanic-Nipissing Gabbro contact.

Simon Copper - Wholly Owned

Approximately 16 kilometres of line cutting has been completed over the South Zone (Simon Copper Deposit). The South Zone has a historical resource (none NI 43-101 compliant) of 253,000 tons grading 1.09% Cu. This deposit was discovered in the 1960s by Noranda and Young Davidson Mines. No assays were taken for Zn, although grab samples from surface assayed 4-6% Zn. Pelangio Mines drill-tested the South Zone in 2000 and 2003 using several widely spaced holes, and demonstrated continuation of mineralization down plunge of the main deposit. From the last round of drilling at the South Zone Deposit in 2003, a large garnet alteration halo was intersected adjacent to the mineralization. This alteration suggests the possibility of a large mineralizing system. A minimum 2,500 metre diamond drilling programme is planned to commence in mid-January 2007, and will initially re-evaluate the deposit in terms of the Cu+Zn potential, followed by drilling the deposit down-dip to the 300 metre level.

A further 5.5 kilometres of line cutting has been completed over the B anomaly, and an additional 11.0 kilometres of line cutting is in progress over the D anomaly.

The B and D anomalies represent two of five airborne geophysical features with signatures that resemble the response over the Simon Copper Deposit (South Zone).

A Time Domain-Electromagnetic survey (TD-EM) commenced last week on the South Zone grid. Upon completion, the B and D grids will also be surveyed.

The Simon Copper property consists of 12 contiguous claims (92 units) covering 1,472 hectares in Denbigh and Lyndoch townships, Ontario. The Property is located within a 175 km north-east trending belt of volcanic rocks. This belt hosts a series of deposits, including the former producing New Calumet Mine, which produced 3.4 million tonnes grading 6.0% Zn, 1.7% Pb, 124 g/t Ag and 0.65 g/t Au. The Simon Copper Property consists of multiple surface showings including the South Zone, North Zone, and East Zone.

Temagami JV Properties - Two thirds owned

Soil Gas Hydrocarbon surveys (SGH) have been completed over multiple kimberlite targets on Temagami North and Cobalt South properties and results are pending. SGH is a method of geochemical exploration which detects 162 specific compounds that have migrated, due to bacterial activity, to the surface and become absorbed by the surficial soils.

Research has shown that there are relationships between specific commodities and SHG compound classes, making this technique a modern and effective tool for diamond exploration. As well, line cutting and geophysics will begin shortly over an airborne magnetic anomaly on the Temagami North Property once ice conditions are favourable. A 1,000 metre diamond drilling programme is planned, contingent upon results of the geophysical survey.
