Adroit Updates Tuscany Gold Projects

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 3, 2005) - Adroit Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ADT) -

Chairman Graeme Rowland is pleased to provide the following status report on the Company's Tuscany Gold Project in Italy.

The Company is engaged in both a regional and a series of property specific programs designed to confirm the existence of Carlin style epithermal gold systems in Southern Tuscany.

This is a region where numerous pathfinder metals commonly associated with gold, such as mercury, antimony, copper, lead and zinc have historically been mined. Field work carried out in the 1980's, which included stream and sediment sampling, grab samples, percussion, reverse circulation and diamond drilling, encountered gold mineralization.

Adroit has acquired or made application to acquire a total of 10 properties covering some 6,400 hectares. The property transfers and registrations to obtain permits to exploration are in process. Management anticipates that the first transfers will be completed in the coming weeks and the associated exploration permits will follow thereafter. There is general support and cooperation for the initiatives at the local level and from the various mining authorities.

In the interim, research and exploration are proceeding. More historical mining and metallurgical information is surfacing and being compiled from past industrial mineral operators, archives in the regional mining offices and Universities.

A series of 12 samples, each weighing 3-4 kilograms, were collected from the tailings from the old mine workings at Ponte San Pietro, one of the 10 properties referred to above, where it is reported that some 10,000 tonnes of ore grading 8% Cu and 2% Zn were extracted. The samples have been shipped to FILAB Laboratories near Dijon, France, for fire assay and ICP multi-element assaying. The samples and assays aim to confirm the gold contents of up to 10 g/tonne reported by de Casa et al. of the Metallurgical Department at the Faculty of Engineering of Rome's Sapienza University. An extract from this study describes a vein-type deposit extending over 200m in length, 60m in depth and 4 to 6m in width. The full detailed report and surveys, said to be based on more that 600 samples in the area and which identified several gold anomalies, are being traced.

In addition, 4 new, similar sized samples, have been taken from mine workings at Bantitella, a past producer of antimony, and from Pietricci-Macchia, where the limestone also hosts stibnite. These samples are for orientation. Assay results from the sampling program are expected in 2-3 weeks.
