ADTRAN to Provide Gateways for Use With Toshiba's IPedge IP Business Telephone System

Total Access 900 Series Gateways Certified for Interoperability

(NASDAQ: ADTN), a leading supplier of unified business and converged communications solutions, and Toshiba America Information Systems Inc., Telecommunication Systems Division ( announced today the availability of ADTRAN's Total Access® 908 and 908e gateways for use in conjunction with Toshiba's IPedge™ IP communication system. Certified as interoperable with the IPedge family of systems, the ADTRAN gateways are used to convert T1/ISDN-PRI to SIP Trunks, allowing the connection of the IPedge systems to SIP Trunks for cost-effective business communications. The ADTRAN gateways are now available nationwide from Authorized Toshiba Dealers.
