Advanced Battery Technologies to Commence Trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market on February 26, 2008

The New Trading Symbol on the NASDAQ Will Be ABAT

NEW YORK, NY and HARBIN, CHINA--(Marketwire - February 25, 2008) - Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: GBT) will commence trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market on February 26, 2008. The new trading symbol will be "ABAT." The shares of Advanced Battery Technologies will no longer trade on the AMEX under the symbol GBT. Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. develops, manufactures, and distributes rechargeable polymer lithium-ion (PLI) battery cells for use in electric vehicles, mining equipment, and a variety of other consumer electronics.
