Advanced Defense Technologies (ADTI) Next Generation Planar Antennas Include Low Profile, Light-Weight, Low Cost and Ease of Integration Making Them Ideal Components of Modern Communications Systems

Product Applications Span Wireless Devices to Satellite Communication Systems for Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C)

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - January 20, 2011) - Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: ADCF), a developer of breakthrough technologies for military defense, homeland security and commercial communications systems, announced today the Company is working on wideband planar antenna array systems for product applications spanning wireless devices to satellite communication systems for tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C). The new antennas operate over multiple bands and broad bands due to various applications such as GSM, WCDMA and WLAN and are far superior in terms of impedance, gain and radiation performance.

Most of the satellite communication systems for tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C) or satellite operations in space for data links and payload operations require small low profile antennas operating at a number of frequencies. The specific requirements are either to reduce the number of antennas by increasing the number of frequency bands a single antenna can support or reduce the antenna profile as much as possible. An ideal solution would be the wideband antenna system design that is capable of operating at a number of frequency bands simultaneously with independently controlled and scanned beams.

ADTI's broadband antennas are the newest generation of antennas that have the attractive features required, such as low profile, light-weight, low cost and ease of integration into arrays and they make them ideal components of wireless devices and modern communications systems.
