Advanced Defense Technologies Expanding Product Development in $10 Billion Global Market for Next Generation Antennas

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - January 18, 2011) - Advanced Defense Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) (PINKSHEETS: ADCF), a developer of breakthrough technologies for military defense, homeland security and commercial communications systems, announced today the Company is expanding development of next generation lightweight and small size antennas. The global market value of antennas systems and devices was an estimated $10.1 billion in 2009, but is expected to increase to more than $13.3 billion in 2014, for a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.8%. Global shipments for antennas for systems and devices are expected to be more than 15.4 billion units in 2014, after reaching an estimated 7.2 billion units in 2009. That indicates a 5-year CAGR of 16.6%.

Advanced Defense's antenna designs are based on the planar antenna arrays. They are well suited for product applications in point-to-multi-point communications, wideband radar applications, defense and homeland security systems.
