Advanced ID Corporation Receives First Bridgestone Order

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 22, 2010) - Advanced ID Corporation (PINK SHEETS:AIDO) is pleased to announce that Bridgestone/Bandag in Brazil has purchased RFID tire badges and UHF RFID readers from Advanced ID. This first order has been shipped, delivered and paid for. This order is the result of a year of Advanced ID and Bridgestone working together to ensure that the Bridgestone RFID tire management system is ready for full commercial introduction.

Bridgestone has announced in Brazil its new 'Bridgestone Radio Frequency Indicator' program, which adds an RFID badge to commercial tires during the retread process or to existing tires on fleet operations. Bridgestone introduced this program to their distributor network on September 11, 2010 as a major new solution in the never ending challenge of identifying and protecting tires as a major asset in the trucking industry. Bridgestone has developed a portable installation kit that will be deployed throughout the country as the requirements ramp up. Advanced ID expects to receive larger additional orders from Bridgestone for tire badges and readers as the program is rolled out.

Dan Finch, Advanced ID's President, commented, "The RFID tire tag business continues to be the core business for the company. Since 2006, Advanced ID has persevered in the belief that RFID tire management will save fleet operators millions of dollars a year with the right products. It is clear that the Advanced ID position was well founded. With this new business and several more in the pipeline Advanced ID is now able to confirm significantly improved revenue as the company moves through the last half of 2010. The Bridgestone business is an example of solid revenue resulting from a year of hard work to convince a world class company that a partnership with Advanced ID makes sense."
