NEW BERLIN, WI--(Marketwire - March 9, 2011) - Advantage Refrigeration, LLC (Advantage), a leader in design, engineering, construction and service for commercial and industrial refrigeration, is pleased to announce that it has named Russell A. Dudan, chief executive officer (CEO). Dudan succeeds Advantage's founder, John S. Gnas who retired.
Mr. Dudan comes to Advantage Refrigeration from Modern Equipment Company of Port Washington, Wis. where he served as Director of Operations, overseeing its lean improvement efforts, manufacturing, maintenance, purchasing, inventory control, and shipping and receiving. Prior to Modern Equipment Company, Mr. Dudan served as president of Centron Energy Corporation in Germantown, Wis.

Smith, chief executive officer of The Freedom Group, a private investment firm which owns Advantage Refrigeration said, "We are extremely pleased to have Russ join the Advantage management team as CEO. Prior to Modern Equipment and Centron Energy Corporation, Mr. Dudan held senior positions of increasing responsibility with several Wisconsin-based companies including HB Performance Systems (formerly Hayes Brake) in Mequon, APW Engineered Solutions (a division of Applied Power Inc.) in Butler, and Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton.
Mr. Dudan holds a M.S. in Business and Engineering Management from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
