Advantel Networks Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - August 04, 2016) - Advantel Networks, a premier technology provider, announced today the appointment of David Black as the new Chief Financial Officer, formerly held by Advantel's Chief Executive Officer, Tom Vignau.

David has over 23 years of experience in financial management roles in high growth technology companies, and will serve as a key driver in supporting Advantel's strategic growth initiatives, and promoting greater financial efficiencies.

For the past five years, David has provided high-level, financial consulting services to a number of Bay Area firms, including Advantel. Prior to that, he served as a senior finance executive for GridIron Systems, Tribal Brands, Facetime Communications, and Consenty Networks where he built world class accounting, finance, legal and human resource departments.

He has also served in senior financial roles at Fortinet, Extreme Networks and BEA Systems, contributing to their successful IPOs while helping scale controls and processes during the companies' high growth phases. David holds a BS in Business Finance from San Diego State University.
