Adventure & Survival Company "Black Rhino Expeditions" Announces 9th Death Valley Tour

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 26, 2014) - For years, Black Rhino Expeditions (BRE) has made the great outdoors their home. The family-owned enterprise has combined their passion for off-road adventure with a love of camping and survival, introducing countless thrill-seekers to the natural beauty of Death Valley, the Colorado Rockies and the Mojave Desert. Have an itch to test yourself in the wilderness? BRE is now taking enrollment for their 9th Death Valley Expedition!

"There's no better way to get that adrenaline rush than a drive through this treasured natural landscape," says Expedition Leader Frank Buddenbrock. "We'll teach you everything there is to know about Death Valley, train you how to safely operate your 4-wheel drive vehicle and spend a night camping under the stars."

The 9th Death Valley Expedition is a three-day trek from Ridgecrest through the backroads of Death Valley to Olancha filled with geological exploration of the Valley's most distinctive landmarks, such as the '49ers Escape Route, the Wildrose Charcoal Kilns, Titus Canyon and abandoned mining camps such as Ballarat, Lookout City, Rhyolite and Chloride City. Participants will be joined by Allan Shareghi, a U.S. Department of the Interior geologist, who will share his unique knowledge of the land while participants learn important desert survival skills and engage in off-road training. Day one ends with an overnight camp at Mahogany Flat's 8,000 ft. elevation, followed by a luxurious stay at the Furnace Creek Inn on night two.

BRE was named for Frank's love of the rhinoceros. The company donates a portion of all proceeds to Save The Rhino, a UK organization that works to conserve the black rhino population in Africa and Asia. Frank's team has also been responsible for saving the lives of numerous stranded travelers, coordinating rescue operations via ham radio and GPS tracking after encountering them in the harsh terrain.

Families are welcome and encouraged to participate! BRE has a 100% safety record and infants can enjoy the ride while strapped securely in their baby seats. Join the 9th Death Valley Expedition today as spots are limited and filling fast!
