ADVISORY: Hampton to speak at Board of Trade

NDP Leader first in Board's 'Vote Toronto' election series

Attention: Business/Financial Editor, City Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 5, 2007) - NDP Leader Howard Hampton will speak to Toronto's business leaders tomorrow morning at the Toronto Board of Trade.

Hampton, who will be introduced by federal New Democratic Party Leader Jack Layton, will provide insight into his party's election platform with a special focus on the key issues facing Toronto and its business community.

The sold-out event is part of the Board's "Vote Toronto" election program, designed to provide members of the Board of Trade and the business community with insights and information in advance of the October 10 provincial election.

The program includes appearances by Premier Dalton McGuinty (September 7) and Conservative Leader John Tory (September 14).

DATE: Thursday, September 6

TIME: Speech at approximately 8:00 a.m. Q&A with audience to follow.
