Advocate Health Care Named One of Chicago's Top Workplaces, Again

DOWNERS GROVE, IL--(Marketwired - November 12, 2013) - For a fourth year in a row, Advocate Health Care had been named one of Chicago's Top Workplaces by the Chicago Tribune.

The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. More than 1,000 Advocate employees were randomly selected to take part in this year's annual survey -- giving Advocate high marks for its culture of high performance and clear direction for the future, among other benefits. The positive feedback places Advocate, with its 34,000 associates, among the top 25 largest companies in the Chicago metropolitan area to receive the recognition.

"We are honored to be named among the area's Top Workplaces but we are even more proud that our patients trust us to deliver the safest and best medical care," said Jim Skogsbergh, president and chief executive officer of Advocate Health Care.

Collectively, more than one million employees from nearly 900 large U.S. companies were surveyed by WorkplaceDynamics to determine the list of Top Workplaces.
