AEF Global Inc. Receives Support from Government of Canada

LÉVIS, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 24, 2014) - Canada Economic Development

Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Lévis-Bellechasse and Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, today announced that the firm AEF Global Inc. has been granted financial assistance from the Government of Canada to expand into international markets and significantly boost its exports.

This assistance has been awarded in the form of a $100,000 repayable financial contribution through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.

  • AEF Global specializes in the manufacture of biopesticides, integrated products and natural fertilizers for the ornamental horticulture, agriculture and forestry sectors.
  • In addition to enabling the company to hire a market development director, this project is expected to lead to the creation of further jobs as the result of its future economic impacts.
