AEP Networks Exhibit at All Hazards Forum Showcases Homeland Security Solutions

Highlights AEP's Decade of Experience in Delivering Secure Information-Sharing Solutions to the Public Sector

SOMERSET, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 24, 2005 -- AEP Networks, the specialist in network and application access security, will showcase its complete solution portfolio at this week's All Hazards Forum Conference and Exhibition set for Oct. 26 and 27 at the Baltimore (Md.) Convention Center. AEP Networks will exhibit in booth 216.

The 2005 All Hazards Forum Conference and Exhibition is the only state-endorsed homeland security event dedicated to ensuring the continued safety and growth of the Mid-Atlantic region. Bringing together key homeland security leaders and resources in this region, the All Hazards Forum is a grass roots effort created in 2004 to solve key emergency management and homeland security issues at the local, county, and state levels in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, DC, and West Virginia.

This year's Forum marks a key opportunity for industry networking, information sharing and business development for public and private emergency management and homeland security stakeholders from across the Mid-Atlantic. Registration information is available at www.allhazardsforum.com.

"At this year's All Hazards Forum, AEP Networks will highlight the expertise we've gained during a full decade of providing in-depth, fully certified security solutions to law enforcement, homeland security and emergency management agencies at the federal, state and local levels," said Margaret (Peg) Grayson, President of AEP Networks' Government Solutions Group. "Further, since more government agencies are now looking to deploy integrated security solutions, we're able to meet their requirements with unique products that can simultaneously protect their core network infrastructures while providing secure remote access for trusted users."

SmartGate®, AEP's identity-based application layer security product, has already been widely deployed throughout the public sector to enable secure information sharing.
