Aero Communications Acquires Fulton Technologies

CANTON, MI--(Marketwired - Aug 18, 2014) - Aero Communications, Inc. today announced it has acquired Fulton Technologies, Inc., a Midwest provider of wireless network construction and municipal safety services. The acquisition augments and expands its capabilities in the telecommunications infrastructure services industry.

Fulton Technologies, headquartered near Chicago, performs construction, repair, and maintenance of cell site and tower facilities for leading wireless carriers and related service partners. Fulton also provides site studies, radio frequency interference testing, inventory management, and other support services. Operating in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and South Dakota, Fulton also supplies civil alert systems and services to numerous municipalities and utility companies.

Aero Communications provides turnkey network deployment services to broadband, cable, telecom, and wireless service providers. These services include engineering, construction, and testing of aerial and underground fiber, small cells, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and cell towers. Aero also performs residential and commercial installation services. The addition of Fulton Technologies strengthens Aero Communications' wireless tower business, adds municipal safety services, and provides an additional Chicagoland location to serve existing customers.

"Fulton is an excellent provider of wireless tower services, and will enhance our business on multiple fronts. Our customers have been asking us to increase resources and expand our geographic footprint, and this acquisition allows us to do both," said Greg McCray, CEO of Aero Communications. "Fulton also enables us to deepen our relationships with municipalities. We're enthusiastic about what this means for our customers."

"We're extremely pleased that Aero Communications has chosen Fulton to augment their wireless line of business," said Jim Haberkost, Fulton's COO and EVP. "With Aero, we'll now be able to provide a greater suite of services to our customers and more opportunities for our employees."

Fulton is Aero Communications' fourth acquisition in twelve months. Last month, Aero Communications acquired Phoenix Installation, a Dallas area provider of aerial and underground fiber networks. In January, Aero purchased Minneapolis based Mill City, a leading provider of cell tower construction and maintenance services in the Upper Midwest. Last August, Aero Communications acquired CableNet, a Philadelphia based provider of installation and network services to broadband network operators.
