AeroGrow Rolls Out Enhanced Infomercial Featuring New Strawberry Kit -- Average Order Size Increases 20%

Strawberry Kits to Be Launched Into Retail and Catalog Distribution at Upcoming International Housewares Show

BOULDER, CO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 7, 2007 -- AeroGrow International, Inc. (OTCBB: AGWI) ("AeroGrow"), makers of the AeroGarden™ kitchen garden appliance, announced today that its new infomercial, featuring the new Strawberry Patch™ plant kit and the new Master Gardener Kit, has resulted in improved consumer response and order size. AeroGrow plans to roll out the enhanced infomercial nationally on cable and broadcast television.

AeroGrow recently re-worked its infomercial to test the impact of featuring these two new products in the program. The two kits are then offered as additional product sales through its inbound telemarketing centers.

The new products include the Strawberry Patch plant kit, which for the first time allows consumers to grow fresh strawberries, year-round, right on their kitchen counters. Also offered is the Master Gardener Kit, which allows consumers to plant and grow their own favorite seed varieties in the AeroGarden. The Master Gardener Kit also makes a valuable gardening tool for starting seeds indoors before transplanting to an outdoor garden when weather allows.

On average, the new products have increased consumer response to the infomercial while increasing the average order size by approximately 20%. More than 40% of these AeroGarden buyers are purchasing one or both of the new product offerings.

With the increased exposure from the infomercial, AeroGrow will be offering these two products to select catalog and web retailers at the upcoming 2007 International Home & Housewares Show to be held in Chicago, Illinois from March 11 to March 13, 2007.

The AeroGarden infomercial has been running nationally since September 2006.
