Aeroports de Montreal: Clarification - Taxi Demonstration

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 10, 2016) - Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) wishes to make a clarification regarding allegations by taxi industry representatives about Uber. ADM has always complied with existing regulations.

ADM met with Uber representatives. The Uber application is not available at the Montréal-Trudeau terminal.

ADM is working in coordination with the Bureau du Taxi de Montréal on this issue and the Airport Patrol conducts regular surveillance, especially in passenger dropoff and pickup areas.

At the same time, ADM is working together with the taxi industry to improve service. ADM would like to reiterate the airport taxi fleet is reserved solely for holders of a taxi or limousine permit.
