Aeroports de Montreal Delighted at Announcement of Bombardier's CSeries Launch

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 14, 2008) - Aeroports de Montreal (ADM) happily and enthusiastically welcomes yesterday's announcement in Farnborough, England, of Bombardier's launch of its CSeries family of jets.

"We are doubly pleased because Montreal's aeronautical industry will be given two facets of this major program," said Jean Teasdale, ADM's Vice-President, Real Estate and Commercial Services. "Our customer Bombardier has in fact confirmed that the facilities for the final assembly of this new aircraft will be located at Montreal-Mirabel airport. The company has also announced that the rear fuselage and cockpit will be built at its Ville Saint-Laurent plant, near Montreal-Trudeau."

Mr. Teasdale added: "This is excellent news for Aeroports de Montreal and the entire Greater Montreal region. There is no doubt that Montreal's aeronautical industry will brilliantly tackle the CSeries challenge."

ADM is the local airport authority responsible for the management, operation and development of Montreal-Trudeau and Montreal-Mirabel international airports since 1992. The Corporation employs a total of some 600 people at both airports and at head office.
