Aerospace and Defense Firm Comtek Announces New Appointments to Its Strategic Advisory Board

PHOENIX, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2006 -- Comtek Advanced Structures ("Comtek") is pleased to announce that Mr. Keith Meredith, President of Montreal-based aviation market and technology consulting firm Aeroinsight, and Mr. Bruce Taylor, General Manager of Res Precast, have been appointed to Comtek's Strategic Advisory Board.

Mr. Meredith holds a Master of Science degree in Air Transport Management from the Cranfield Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Southampton University. He founded Aeroinsight in 1991 after having gained extensive experience in airline and market analysis with both Airbus in Toulouse and Bombardier Aerospace in Montreal. Aeroinsight has completed several engagements with Comtek in commercial aerospace and airline market analysis. Consequently, Mr. Meredith will bring to bear a deep knowledge of Comtek and its products and markets in his service on the Advisory Board.

Mr. Taylor has spent more than 30 years in the construction and precast concrete business since graduating in Architectural Technology from Humber College, becoming General Manager of Res Precast of Innisfil, Ontario in 1990 and managing the growth of the business from its inception to its present leadership position in the industry. Currently, Mr. Taylor's prime responsibility is Res Composite Technologies, where as a visionary leader he has been working with Comtek to explore the application of Comtek's resin infusion technology to architectural projects.

In announcing these appointments, Patrick Whyte, Comtek's President and CEO, stated that "We are delighted to be able to add these very experienced executives to our Strategic Advisory Board. Keith's detailed industry knowledge will assist the expansion of our aerospace and defense business, while Bruce's vision has confirmed our belief that our technology has tremendous potential in other industry sectors. Our relationship with Res in the area of building construction has given us the model for the strategic partnerships that we intend to forge in the wide range of industries where composites are increasingly used."

Additional announcements may be expected in the near future as Comtek continues to expand both its Strategic Advisory Board and its Scientific Advisory Board.
