AFFLINK's VP of Marketing to Discuss The Indirect Supply Chain at 2016 BSCAI Annual Convention

TUSCALOOSA, AL--(Marketwired - Oct 19, 2016) - AFFLINK, a Tuscaloosa-based global leader in supply chain management, proudly announces VP of Marketing and Communications, Michael Wilson, is slated to present a 60-minute peer-to-peer education session at the 2016 BSCAI Annual Convention on October 29th at the Radisson Blu Hotel and McCormick Place Convention Center.

Michael Wilson's session, The Hidden Opportunities in Your Indirect Supply Chain, examines an often-overlooked area in today's businesses' supply chain optimization efforts. Wilson will dive deep into the reasons the indirect supply chain is an area filled with cost-saving opportunities and the actionable steps necessary to uncover savings.

"The quest for continuous improvement is never over in today's highly competitive environment, forcing the innovators, trendsetters, and thought-leaders to ask, 'What's next?'," says Wilson.

"It's time for businesses to look at what's perceived as a less than glamorous area for supply chain optimization: the indirect supply chain."

Michael Wilson is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at AFFLINK, a global leader in Supply Chain Management and creator of the ELEVATE process. Prior to joining AFFLINK, he was the Managing Editor for a top-ten B2B publishing company, writing for magazines covering the Facility Maintenance, Packaging and Safety industries. He holds B.A. from the University of Mississippi, a M.A. from the University of Tennessee, and has been LEED-AP certified since 2008.
