afterBOT Partners With IBM to Embrace Open Standards, Grow Business

ATLANTA, GA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 8, 2007 -- afterBOT, a leading provider of web-based business solutions for the retail industry, announced today it has achieved optimized status in IBM's PartnerWorld Industry Networks. This status was achieved as a result of the efforts of IBM (NYSE: IBM) and afterBOT to deploy a web portal application for supplier collaboration at Dillard's Department Stores.

afterBOT recently moved from primarily using Microsoft technology -- including Windows and SQL Server -- to IBM's WebSphere Application Server, DB2, and Linux -- a platform change that was largely driven by customer requirements. In partnership with IBM and Inovis, afterBOT recently implemented its Supplier Connect solution with Dillard's Inc., based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Using the solution, Dillard's vendors now have direct access to daily detailed sales data -- an initiative that will drive increased efficiency, improve in-stock positions and enable more effective supplier input into merchandise planning.

"Our industry increasingly relies on technology to deliver products to market faster, improve customer service levels and achieve financial goals," said Jim Nadler, Vice President Marketing, afterBOT. "This relationship with IBM has enabled us to improve our solutions and reach a wider set of potential clients looking to benefit from technologies built on open standards."

afterBOT recently achieved optimized status in IBM's PartnerWorld Industry Network for the retail industry.
