AfterCollege Achieves Minority Business Enterprise Certification

AfterCollege Becomes Certified as a Minority Business Enterprise Through the National Minority Supplier Development Council

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - June 18, 2008) - AfterCollege, Inc., the largest career network for college students and alumni, today announced that it has been granted Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and by its affiliate, the Northern California Supplier Development Council (NCSDC). The NMSDC is a national organization made up of 39 regional councils with a combined constituency of over 3,600 corporate members and 16,500 certified MBE suppliers. Its mission is to facilitate access to contracting opportunities between certified MBEs and corporate and public purchasers. Employers that are members of the NMSDC will benefit from AfterCollege's college recruiting and branding services while also supporting minority business initiatives.
