Direct Mail Campaign in U.S. for Comcast High-Speed Internet Engages Customers to Connect Their Consoles to Comcast Network to Enable Online Gaming

NEW ORLEANS, LA--(Marketwire - November 23, 2010) - In an impressive application of multichannel marketing that demonstrates how direct mail can move online gamers to action, Harte-Hanks (NYSE: HHS), a global insight-driven, multichannel direct and digital marketing company, announced today that The Agency Inside Harte-Hanks and its client Comcast has won a 2010 "Silver" MARK Award from the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM). The honor recognizes an advertising effort targeted to Comcast customers who received a Nintendo Wii console for signing up for new "Triple Play" services (TV, High-Speed Internet and Voice). The direct mail effort compelled these new Nintendo Wii users to hook their consoles up to Comcast High-Speed Internet. The award was presented October 18 to the agency and client during a CTAM conference in New Orleans.

The "Silver" MARK award was one of seven MARK awards garnered by Comcast during this year's competition. The 27th Annual MARK Awards competition is a member service of CTAM, and recognizes outstanding achievement and excellence in marketing from networks, cable companies, and their agencies. Award recipients are known throughout the cable and entertainment world as "best in class."
