Agentrics GenSync Selected as Data Pool Services Provider in Switzerland

BERN, Switzerland and Alexandria, Va. and CHICAGO--(CCNMatthews - Mar 22, 2006) -

Agentrics, LLC(1) announced today that GS1 Switzerland has selected its GenSync platform as the global data synchronization (GDS) solution for the country of Switzerland.

Through GenSync, Agentrics, a GDSN-certified global data pool, is to provide infrastructure and services to enable the operation of a Swiss data pool, replacing the incumbent EdB service, which is scheduled to be phased out by the end of 2006. By adopting GenSync, Switzerland's retail and consumer goods industry will have access to software and services that will help develop and execute an effective GDS strategy. Additionally, Agentrics will optimize the GDS platform in Switzerland to best meet the needs of the country's businesses.

Agentrics' on-boarding services for GS1 Switzerland include the Managed Supplier Outreach program and the GDS Academy, which will be instrumental in migrating existing customers from the EdB service and bringing new trading partners to the Swiss data pool. Agentrics and GS1 Switzerland also intend to form a Swiss Data Pool Advisory Group in order to effectively capture the requirements of the retail and supplier community within Switzerland and ensure that the platform is continually evolving to meet their needs.
