Aggressive Expansion for Mortgage Architects in Alberta Continues With the Signing of Lorrie Rasmussen

AIRDRIE, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 14, 2009) - Mortgage Architects welcomes lead planner Lorrie Rasmussen of fast-growing Airdrie, Alberta. Growth momentum continues to be very strong in the west for Mortgage Architects, with several recent signings of high profile brokers in Alberta.

Lorrie Rasmussen has seen her business rapidly expand since she received her license in 2004, and credits her strong customer service and sales background for laying a strong foundation for success as a mortgage broker. "I was working in new construction sales when I was introduced to brokering. After I got licensed, it was a perfect fit for me to focus on builder business, which really launched my mortgage brokering career," said Rasmussen.

Lorrie has had her storefront office in Airdrie for almost a year and is very excited about building her business in one of the fastest growing cities in Canada. "I've got a great location in a great city. Now I need to focus on the database that I've developed over the last five years," said Rasmussen. "I already get excellent return business but focusing on the different needs of my database will mean a better overall customer experience."

In addition to more focus on her database, additional going forward goals for Lorrie include bringing on additional builders and growing her team with associates who share her vision and values. Associates Janet Batic and Pauline McInnes joined Lorrie's team in 2008.

"The move to Mortgage Architects at this point was just a natural fit," said Lorrie who cites several reasons for making the move, including the company's CRM program, professional web sites, and exclusive lender myNext Mortgage Company. "I also really like the strength of the management team and the overall professionalism of the company. "This was also the right move for my referral sources," said Lorrie.

"Our growth in Western Canada is incredibly exciting," said Meinhard (Meini) Ickert, Vice President of Western Canada for Mortgage Architects. "Lorrie Rasmussen has an excellent business with huge potential, and we're thrilled to help her achieve her next level of success."
