Agosto Builds Breakthrough Software Product for Law Enforcement Market

Cloud-Based Solution Created for Image Sensing Systems Debuts at Premier Law Enforcement Event

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Oct 22, 2013) - Agosto, Inc. today announced that its product developed for Image Sensing Systems, Inc. (ISS), a leading provider of above-ground detection and information management solutions, has launched at the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Agosto, a cloud solutions firm, was selected by Image Sensing Systems to help create CitySync Safety, an innovative cloud-based data analytics application, leveraging Agosto's strategic product and development expertise.

Part of a larger CitySync initiative by Image Sensing Systems is to improve safety and efficiency for cities and highways. CitySync Safety quickly translates and analyzes data collected by Image Sensing Systems' cameras, enabling law enforcement investigators to get the critical evidence they need to move from crime to conviction. Agosto designed and developed the product on Google Cloud Platform because of its virtually infinite scale, for its rich analytics and for its geographically-enabled tools. Agosto has expertise across the entire suite of Google Enterprise products including Google Apps, Search, Chrome and Cloud Platform.

"Projects like CitySync are perfect for Agosto," said Irfan Khan, Agosto's CTO. "We are product strategists at heart, with over a decade of cloud development expertise and the largest Google Cloud Platform team in North America. By combining machine-to-machine integration, Google's Geo technology and Cloud Platform as well as Google Glass, we've built a product that will allow Image Sensing Systems to transform law enforcement and other industries."

"Image Sensing Systems has a legacy of innovation and developing breakthrough technologies for our markets. The partnership between ISS and Agosto had the right combination of vision, strategy and ability to bring our vision for CitySync Safety to life," said Kris Tufto, CEO of Image Sensing Systems. "We continue to investigate new ways to apply sensing capabilities that connect the physical and digital worlds, using Google Glass and other ground-breaking products to make our cities safer, more livable, and sustainable."

The CitySync Safety product will be available in January in the United States.
