Agria Implements Rotation of Independent Auditor Policy

BEIJING--(Marketwire - December 30, 2010) - Agria Corporation (NYSE: GRO) (the "Company" or "Agria"), a China-based company with investments in the agriculture sector, announced today that it has implemented its independent auditor rotation policy and changed its independent auditor for the year ending December 31, 2010 from Ernst & Young Hua Ming ("Ernst & Young") to GHP Howarth. Ernst & Young audited Agria's financial statements for each of the previous six years. The change was approved by Agria's audit committee and full board of directors. Agria and Ernst & Young did not have any disagreements on matters of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope or procedures that, if not resolved to the satisfaction of Ernst & Young, would have caused it to make reference to the subject matter of the disagreement in connection with its report on Agria's consolidated financial statements.
