Agrigratte Ltd Receives Financial Support From Government of Canada


SAINT-JACQUES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 4, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announced that the firm Agrigratte Ltd has been granted financial assistance for the acquisition of higher-performance manufacturing equipment.

"By supporting Agrigratte in the acquisition of this equipment, our Government is showing once again that it is committed to investing in projects that help ensure economic growth," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2005, Agrigratte specializes in the design and manufacture of steel plows and accessories for Quebec snow removal companies. The firm offers a versatile range of products adapted to variable weather conditions.

The financial assistance from Canada Economic Development will enable Agrigratte to raise its productivity and potentially create six new jobs between now and 2016.
