AgriMinco Announces Resignation of Director and Appointment of New Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 6, 2014) - AgriMinco Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ANO) would like to announce the resignation of Pamela Hueston from the board of directors (the "Board"), effective immediately.

The Company would also like to announce the appointment of Russel Swarts as a Non-executive Director on the board, effective immediately.

Johan Slabber, CEO of the Company, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the Board to Pamela Hueston. He noted that Russel Swarts brings special skills to the Company in corporate affairs, market communication and deal structuring.

Mr Swarts is a qualified Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, specialist financing, strategic planning and structuring. Mr Swarts has acted in significant capacities for a number of major groups, including the Radiospoor group as the CEO whereby he assisted in merging the paging operations with its largest competitor before selling the group off to an international investor. Mr Swarts has served in several senior financial roles for Dorbyl, Barlow's, Premier Groups and as a financial director at a private equity BEE group. He consulted on the $2.5bn takeover of UraMin by Areva NC and spent 5 years as CFO of the London Stock Exchange AIM llisted URU Metals.
