Learn How Social, Local and Mobile Intersects With People, Content and Technology to Transform Business Processes and the Role of the Information Professional

SILVER SPRING, MD--(Marketwire - Mar 6, 2012) - AIIM, the global community of information professionals, today announced its 2012 Seminar Series, "The Process Revolution: Move your Business from Paper to PCs to Tablets," to be held in 13 cities during May and October. The one-day seminars will provide information management practitioners with the opportunity to explore the business drivers and skills needed for today's business process revolution.

"Mobile, social and cloud technologies are combining to revolutionize business processes," said AIIM President John Mancini. "To survive, organizations must: first, transform processes to tap into the benefits of smart phones and tablets; second, find ways to extract value from the massive amounts of information they accumulate; third, use the cloud to deploy solutions faster; and fourth, use social technologies to create deeper relationships with employees, partners and customers. These seminars will equip information professionals with the knowledge, tool-kits and peer connections they need to revolutionize their organization's processes."

Each one-day in-person educational event will feature case studies, interactive discussions and best practices that address the influence information management is having on business and the newly expanding roles of information professionals. The seminar is open to information professionals at all levels with content appropriate for both beginners and experienced managers.

The seminars are designed for information professionals looking for better ways to improve business processes with digitization, drive paper bottlenecks out of customer engagement and automate the workplace. Each attendee will receive a new eBook titled, "The Handbook for Process Revolutionaries," featuring up-to-date, practical information on the skills and knowledge needed by today's information professional.
