AIMS Worldwide's BrandStand Subsidiary Expands Team to Position for Continued Growth

FAIRFAX, VA--(Marketwire - July 14, 2010) -  AIMS Worldwide, Inc. (OTCBB: AMWW), a marketing services company providing clients with integrated, impactful, cost-effective and measurable solutions, announced today that its BrandStand Marketing Group subsidiary has expanded its team and is positioned for continued growth.

In support of continued growth, including new client development and existing client renewals, BrandStand Marketing Group recently completed a significant expansion of its services and support team to better serve the restaurant industry. BrandStand, located in Harrisburg, PA, has added senior-level experience and tactical capability in local store marketing, social media, digital marketing, creative services and research.

"Over the past year, BrandStand sought feedback from clients and industry leaders on what they needed," BrandStand president Chris Petersen said. "It became clear that despite the difficult economy and tough operating environment, the opportunities are significant and we decided to make the appropriate investments."

Those investments include forming a local marketing unit consisting of local store marketing, social media and digital marketing solutions geared toward BrandStand's operating principle, "Think Local. Act Local."

"In the restaurant industry, we believe all marketing is local," Petersen said. "It's about generating trial and repeat customers, establishing and supporting a positive brand in the marketplace and making sure results are measured on sales increases."

Key management additions include:

Joe Saunders, senior vice president & general manager of local marketing. Saunders leads a new unit that focuses on local store marketing, social media and digital marketing solutions that provide clients with effective strategic and tactical actions to produce high ROI. He formerly served as executive vice president at AIMS Worldwide and previously was vice president for business development at Targus Information Corporation.

Mark Goughnour, director of research. With almost 25 years in the restaurant consulting industry, Goughnour leads BrandStand's brand audit and customized client research initiatives. He most recently was president of The Report Factory and previously spent more than 10 years at Restaurant Consulting Group.

Greg Kauffman, creative director. Kauffman oversees all strategic and tactical design activity for clients. He most recently headed Kauffman Design Company and previously worked with several creative companies in the Mid-Atlantic region. Kauffman has extensive restaurant experience, including brand development, menu design and supporting marketing materials.

Tim Cusick, vice president for creative services and the founder of BrandStand. In this role, Cusick oversees client strategy and service delivery. Previously, he was co-founder and senior vice president of operations for The Silver Diner, a multi-unit concept based in Washington, DC. Cusick is a sought-after industry speaker and expert on brand strategy and targeted marketing.

Chris Petersen joined BrandStand as president in July 2009. He formerly was president & CEO of cable provider Prime Time Broadband in Orlando, Florida and served as executive vice president of AIMS Worldwide. Previously, he was president & CEO of the public relations services provider News USA in Washington, DC and senior vice president of business development at commercial aerospace company SPACEHAB.
