Air Canada Cargo Extends its Use of Descartes' Global Logistics Network'TM'

Global Reach and High Quality Support Cited as Reasons for Contract Extension

The Descartes Systems Group Inc. (NASDAQ:DSGX)(TSX:DSG), a leading provider of on-demand delivery management solutions and services for transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail and distribution enterprises, today announced that Air Canada Cargo has extended its contract for Descartes' Global Logistics Network (GLN) services.

Descartes' GLN, a robust multimodal network of transportation providers and their customers, provides Air Canada Cargo with the communications platform and messaging services required to electronically exchange logistics information with trading partners, including shipment status messages, air waybills, house bills and customs releases. Using a single connection to the GLN, Air Canada Cargo can reach the majority of the freight forwarders it serves, helping it conduct logistics business more efficiently and effectively while complying with stringent international air freight security regulations.
