AirBoss of America Announces Management Changes

NEWMARKET, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec. 16, 2014) - Mr. Gren Schoch, Chairman and CEO of AirBoss of America Corp. ("AirBoss") (TSX:BOS) announces the following management changes, effective January 1, 2015.

Following a very successful year, Tim Toppen will be stepping down as President and will assume the role of Deputy Chairman. Mr. Toppen has brought invaluable experience to the Company during this transformative period and his new role will allow him to focus on special initiatives and key business relationships to continue growing the Company.

Lisa Swartzman will be promoted to President of the Company and will have overall responsibility for the Company's businesses in rubber compounding, engineered products, defense and automotive parts. Ms. Swartzman has 20 years of experience in manufacturing, distribution and retail industries with some of Canada's largest publicly traded companies as well as with mid-market organizations in both the US and Canada.

Ms. Swartzman holds a BA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Queen's University. Since joining AirBoss earlier in 2014 she has been heavily involved in all aspects of the executive management of the Company and her diverse background is very well suited to guide the Company as it moves forward.

Robert Dodd will be promoted to President, AirBoss Rubber Compounding and remains an Executive Vice President of AirBoss of America. Mr. Dodd has been managing Airboss' Rubber Compounding Division since 2006 and is responsible for successfully implementing lean manufacturing, margins enhancement strategies and diversifying our customer base into new industries.

Over the course of 2014 AirBoss has added several key people to our management and corporate office team and combined with our existing business unit leaders we have an experienced and very capable team to manage the many growth opportunities ahead of us.
