AirG and Kids Help Phone Partner to Promote Safety and Awareness in Mobile Communities

AirG Furthers its Commitment to Chat Safety through Donation of Valuable Mobile Ads

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 20, 2007) - AirG, the largest mobile community in the world, announced today that it has donated more than $200,000 in mobile advertising to Kids Help Phone to help raise awareness for Kids Help Phone's valuable services amongst AirG's millions of mobile customers. Kids Help Phone is Canada's only toll-free, 24 hour, bilingual and anonymous phone and web counselling, referral and information service for young people.

"Many of AirG's customers in Canada are in the same target demographic as the young people that Kids Help Phone supports," commented Frederick Ghahramani, Director and Co-Founder, AirG. "With AirG's detailed user profiling capabilities, we have been able to reach out to young people directly with information about Kids Help Phone, and enable our customers to instantly connect with Kids Help Phone from their mobile phones."

AirG ran a series of mobile ads in its community that were created specifically for Kids Help Phone and targeted to certain mobile user groups within Canada. Some of the ads listed the Kids Help Phone web address and phone number, and where technically feasible the ads could be clicked on to connect directly to Kids Help Phone. The mobile advertising landing pages were viewed more than four million times during a two month period and as a result, Kids Help Phone was able to reach more young people and potential donors than ever before.

"Kids Help Phone is grateful to AirG for making this valuable ad space available to help us get our message out to young people through their mobile phones," said Graham Lute, Vice President, Marketing and Fund Development, Kids Help Phone. "As technology continues to develop, Kids Help Phone needs to communicate with young people through their medium of choice, and we appreciate the support of companies like AirG which help us reach our audience of users and donors in innovative new ways."
