AirIQ Expands Heavy Equipment Channel

Launch of next generation device drives new orders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 31, 2008) - AirIQ Inc. (TSX:IQ), a leader in Wireless Location-Based Services, specializing in Telematics and Security, today announced that the first shipment of the Company's next generation heavy equipment application has been tested and formally accepted by a new channel partner.

Steve Willey, President and Chief Executive Officer of AirIQ, stated, "While we will continue to sell directly to major accounts, we will add indirect and private label channels to reach the smaller customer. Arrangements of this nature are fundamental to our 2008 strategy of maximizing coverage across market verticals and geographies. Indirect channels will include major distributors that bring tremendous reach within their field and geography, as well as individual dealers that can value-add or otherwise bundle our solutions with other services that they provide to commercial fleet operators."

Anne Taylor, Vice President Commercial Fleets continued, "AirIQ offers a ruggedized monitoring and security service in both 12 Volt and 24 Volt configurations for industrial and heavy equipment applications where environmental conditions and operational environments are the most demanding. When combined with AirIQ's GREEN Fleet initiative, a contractor is able to equip their "entire fleet" of vehicles with AirIQ solutions that use a common device platform and are serviced by a single provider."
