AirIQ GSM Solution Launches in Mexico

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 11, 2005) -

GSM Capabilities Offer Advanced Services

AirIQ Inc. (TSX:IQ), a leader in Global Wireless Security specializing in Telematics services, announces that a GSM solution with advanced services has been launched to dealers in Mexico. Units are now shipping to clients on a first-ordered, first-served basis. The program launch follows the agreement with Telefonica Moviles Mexico to provide GSM service for the Company's products and services, announced on September 26, 2005.

Additionally, AirIQ is offering existing Analog customers in Mexico a seamless transition to the Company's GSM product. There will be no change to user accounts, online user interfaces and the back-end of the solution. The pricing structure, deployment methods and available services will encounter minimal changes for Mexican customers as well.

"Our aim is to offer our loyal Mexico clients a GSM device that provides greater messaging capabilities, improved power management and long-term service reliability," explains Ken Wiesner, COO of AirIQ. "We are moving decisively with a transition program, but our target effort is focused on new subscriber acquisitions and delivering the best future-proofed service to our distribution partners in Mexico."

The program includes a transition option for existing Analog devices with the new GSM devices. There will be a replacement fee per unit according to the date of purchase and the Company will require dealers in Mexico to place an initial order for GSM units.
